Most residential roof replacements in Broward take one to three days on site — depending on roof size, roofing material, tear-off scope, decking condition, weather and the inspection schedule.
Every roof replacement carries a 10-year workmanship warranty from Safetech, plus the manufacturer's material warranty (lifetime on most premium products) and an independent $250,000 Contractor Directorii guarantee that backs the workmanship coverage.
Yes. Roof replacement across every Broward jurisdiction requires a municipal permit. Safetech pulls the permit, coordinates the required inspections (typically dry-in and final), and delivers the closeout paperwork.
It depends what's under the old roof. Florida code requires decking to meet minimum thickness (19/32in) and nailing pattern (6in on-center at panel edges). Sound sheets are re-nailed; damaged sheets are replaced. Actual replacement count is confirmed after tear-off.
Florida code caps roofs at two roofing layers. A full tear-off removes everything to the deck and lets us inspect, replace decking as needed, and install fresh underlayment — the honest baseline for HVHZ. Overlays are limited and often not permitted in HVHZ jurisdictions.
Yes. Safetech has in-house financing and outside lender partners with a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. Payment options are discussed during the free inspection.
Standing-seam metal typically offers 35–50+ years. Concrete and clay tile also last 40+ years when installed with correct underlayment. Architectural shingles generally last 20–30 years under South Florida sun.
