The Application Process
Documentation & Sourcing
We start by obtaining a professional roof measurement report through GAF QuickMeasure, EagleView, Hover, Roofr, or similar platforms — these provide accurate roof dimensions, diagrams, and property drawings. From there we gather material quotes and Florida product approvals from trusted suppliers like ABC Supply, QXO, and SRS Distribution.
Required Paperwork
Our team compiles a complete permit package: Broward County Uniform Permit Application, HVHZ Uniform Permit Forms, Asbestos Certificate, required affidavits, and your re-roof contract. Where needed, we coordinate with licensed professionals to complete forms and obtain supporting documentation.
Wet Signatures & Notarization
Signature requirements vary from city to city, and some cities require wet signatures on certain documents. To prevent delays, we routinely obtain wet signatures by printing, signing, scanning, and uploading the required forms.
Monitoring & Approvals
Our team regularly monitors the city portal for review comments or revision requests, following up until approval is granted. Once approved, we obtain the Permit Card, Inspection Card, and watermarked approved plans, then print and post the required paperwork on-site.
Inspections & Close-Out
We schedule all staged inspections per city requirements and continuously track results. After the final inspection passes, we follow up with the city to verify the permit is properly completed and closed — and we handle any Notice of Termination, Contractor's Affidavit, or Owner's Affidavit that's required.
